TickerFlow Privacy Policy
For the TickerFlow app on the Wix App Market, by MIVAQ Creative Solutions.
Last updated: October 18, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how MIVAQ Creative Solutions (“MIVAQ”, “we”, “us”) handles information in connection with TickerFlow, an announcement bar app for Wix websites (“the App”). It applies to Wix site owners who install the App (“you”) and to visitors of sites that use it.
1. The short version
- TickerFlow does not run its own database and does not store your site visitors’ personal data.
- Your ticker settings (announcement text, links, colours and options) are saved inside your own Wix site.
- We do not sell personal data, show ads, or use tracking cookies.
2. Information the App uses
Ticker settings. The content and design choices you enter in the App’s settings panel are stored as part of your Wix site. They are displayed publicly on your site, so please do not enter confidential information.
App instance and plan information. To decide whether Free or Pro features are available, the App reads basic app-instance details provided by Wix, such as your app instance ID and whether a paid plan is active. This permission is labelled by Wix as “Read site, business, and email details”. We use it only to check your plan.
Blog posts (optional, Pro). If you choose to show your latest blog posts, the App reads the titles and links of your published Wix Blog posts so it can display them in the ticker. It does not read drafts, comments or member information.
Site visitors. The App does not collect names, email addresses, IP addresses or other personal data from your visitors. If a visitor closes or pauses the ticker, that choice is kept only in the visitor’s browser for the current page view.
3. Payments
Paid plans are purchased and billed through Wix. We never see or store your card or bank details. Wix shares with us only the information needed to know which plan is active and to pay us our share of revenue.
4. Support requests
If you contact us for help, we receive the information you choose to send, such as your name, email address and message. We use it only to answer you and keep it for as long as needed to resolve your request and meet legal obligations.
5. Sharing
We do not sell, rent or trade personal data. The App runs on Wix’s infrastructure, and Wix processes data under its own privacy policy. We may disclose information if required by law.
6. Data retention and deletion
When you remove TickerFlow from your site, the App stops reading any data. Ticker settings stored in your site are removed together with the widget. You can ask us to delete any support correspondence at any time.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal data we hold about you, or to object to its use. To make a request, email us using the details below and we will respond within 30 days.
8. Children
The App is intended for businesses and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date above shows when it last changed. Significant changes will be announced in the App or on this page.
